Environmental policy

Policy for SEK's financing operations as regards state supported credits. In order to contribute to sustainable development, SEK pays regard to the environmental impact of the export financed.

The environmental policy and guidelines for environmental review apply from January 1, 2003.

The guidelines are based on the Common Approaches on Environment and Officially Supported Export Credits developed within the OECD.

The guidelines are applicable to transactions with a credit period of two years or more.
