As an entrepreneur or a business owner it is sometimes difficult to know who to turn to with your export project. SEK collaborates and has contacts with a number of principals, both in Sweden and internationally.

Through our network we offer co-financing solutions and advisory services, and also benchmarking and collaboration on risk management issues and business control systems.

Some Swedish entities

The Swedish Export Credits Guarantee Board (EKN), www.ekn.se
EKN offers guarantees for different types of export related risks. The guarantees function as insurance and can be used for both small and large projects. EKN work with risk guarantees in most of the world’s countries.

The Swedish Trade Council, www.swedishtrade.se
The Swedish Trade Council offers free-of-charge information, strategic advice and operational assistance on location to Swedish companies doing business on international markets. The Council is co-financed by state and industry.

Swedfund, www.swedfund.se
Swedfund is Sweden’s venture capital company for investments in developing countries. Swedfund offers venture capital and competence to companies that seek to establish themselves or expand their operations in Africa, Asia, Latin-America and Eastern Europe (non-EU).

Almi, www.almi.se
One of society's most important tasks is to provide a level playing-field and create generally good conditions for enterprise in this country. In most western industrial countries there is a need for certain public investment in businesses. The reason for this is that the market on its own is not capable of creating all the conditions required for good and stable economic growth. The basis of ALMI's mission is the need for financing and business development that is complementary to the market, where ALMI is the channel for investment based on an industrial policy that promotes economic growth.

In the Nordic region, FEC, Eksportfinans and NIB are strategic hubs in our network. The Nordic collaboration is also the foundation for our collective network in Europe.
